MCGARVEY - Kathleen.
The Family of the late Kathleen McGarvey, her husband Francis, children Angela, Rita, Pauline, Siobhan, Nuala, Rosaleen and Neil, along with her brothers Hugh, Declan, sister Rita and the extended family, wish to thank most sincerely everyone who supported and sympathised with them on their recent, sad bereavement.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many kind family, friends and neighbours who provided huge emotional and practical support to the entire family throughout the wake, those who worked tirelessly inside and outside of the wake house with car parking, marquee, refreshments and transport through very challenging weather conditions.
A huge thanks to Errigal Ciaran GAC for their outstanding hard work and support to the family.
To those who generously provided food, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, visited, telephoned, flowers and to all who made donations in Lieu of flowers to the RVH ICU, we are truly grateful.
To the large crowds of people who attended the wake and funeral, many travelling long distances to share their condolences, which was overwhelming and very much appreciated. To all of the doctors, nurses, paramedics, ambulance crew and passers by who attended to mum at the time of her accident, we will be forever grateful. To the nurses and medical team who cared for mum in the RVH ICU, for the high standard of care, compassion, support and kindness they gave mum whilst in hospital and the entire family during such a difficult time will be forever remembered.
Thank you to all of those who visited mum whilst in hospital, especially Fr.O'Dwyer, Fr. McCrory, Fr. McGinn, Fr McVeigh and Fr McAnenly for their spiritual support and travelling long distances to see mum. A special thanks to our Parish Priest Fr. O’Dwyer for the beautiful healing Mass and personal homily at the funeral, along with Canon McKenna, Fr. McCrory, Fr. McAnenly and Fr.McEntee, who all kindly co-celebrated. To Noleen, Bronagh, Grace and Mattie for the beautiful music, the altar servers, readers, Eucharistic ministers and all who participated in the funeral Mass, thank you. Sincere thanks to Paudge Quinn, Funeral Director for the dignified and professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. To The McGarvey, Mullin and McDermott families who prepared Mum’s final resting place, we are most grateful. Thanks to Farleys of Beragh and their staff for providing the refreshments at Altamuskin Community Centre.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our grateful thanks and appreciation.
Kathleen’s Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Thursday 22nd February, at 7.30pm in St. Mary’s Church, Dunmoyle.
