    MCGARVEY - Kathleen. The Family of the late Kathleen McGarvey, her husband Francis, children Angela, Rita, Pauline, Siobhan, Nuala, Rosaleen and Neil, along with her brothers Hugh, Declan, sister Rita and the extended family, wish to thank most sincerely everyone who supported and sympathised with them on their recent, sad bereavement. We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many kind family, friends and neighbours who provided huge emotional and practical support to the entire family throughout the wake, those who worked tirelessly inside and outside of the wake house with car parking, marquee, refreshments and transport through very challenging weather conditions. A huge thanks to Errigal Ciaran GAC for their outstanding hard work and support to the family. To those who generously provided food, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, visited, telephoned, flowers and to all who made donations in Lieu of flowers to the RVH ICU, we are truly grateful. To the large crowds of people who attended the wake and funeral, many travelling long distances to share their condolences, which was overwhelming and very much appreciated. To all of the doctors, nurses, paramedics, ambulance crew and passers by who attended to mum at the time of her accident, we will be forever grateful. To the nurses and medical team who cared for mum in the RVH ICU, for the high standard of care, compassion, support and kindness they gave mum whilst in hospital and the entire family during such a difficult time will be forever remembered. Thank you to all of those who visited mum whilst in hospital, especially Fr.O'Dwyer, Fr. McCrory, Fr. McGinn, Fr McVeigh and Fr McAnenly for their spiritual support and travelling long distances to see mum. A special thanks to our Parish Priest Fr. O’Dwyer for the beautiful healing Mass and personal homily at the funeral, along with Canon McKenna, Fr. McCrory, Fr. McAnenly and Fr.McEntee, who all kindly co-celebrated. To Noleen, Bronagh, Grace and Mattie for the beautiful music, the altar servers, readers, Eucharistic ministers and all who participated in the funeral Mass, thank you. Sincere thanks to Paudge Quinn, Funeral Director for the dignified and professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. To The McGarvey, Mullin and McDermott families who prepared Mum’s final resting place, we are most grateful. Thanks to Farleys of Beragh and their staff for providing the refreshments at Altamuskin Community Centre. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our grateful thanks and appreciation. Kathleen’s Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Thursday 22nd February, at 7.30pm in St. Mary’s Church, Dunmoyle.

    MCFARLAND - Margaret The family of the late Margaret McFarland, husband Armour, children Andrew and Helen, and grandson Craig and entire extended family circle wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement. All the kind neighbours and friends who called at the family home in Lislap, or at Dunmullan Gospel Hall, sent cards or telephoned and attended the funeral, many of whom travelled a long distance to be with us. To all who helped at the wake, worked in the kitchen, provided food or helped with car parking, we thank you sincerely. We especially thank the two lady paramedics and Dr McCavert for your professionalism and exceptional care for us in the hours following our sad loss. The family are very thankful for the help and support of the Dunmullan Gospel Hall Assembly, those who opened the hall to enable people to call during the wake, and greeted those who came. To Mr Stephen Gilfillan and Mr Alec Wilson who spoke at the hall and the graveside, we are most grateful. A special thank you to Mr Stewart Robinson of the Dunmullan Assembly for his kind words at the funeral service, and Mr Alistair McFarland, Margaret's nephew, who paid tribute to her life in such a loving and fitting manner. We would like to say thank you to Keith and Charlie of R G Adams, Funeral Directors for the excellent manner in which the funeral arrangements were organised, and to the gravedigger and also to the management and staff of the Silverbirch Hotel for the lovely tea after the funeral. To everyone who donated in lieu of flowers to Disabled Christian Fellowship, we are very grateful. A final word of thanks must go to Chris Doherty and Alison Beattie for their care and attention to dad in the days following mum's death. Their help and advice is greatly appreciated by the entire family circle. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere gratitude.

    KYLE - We, the family of the late Norman Kyle, wish to thank most sincerely, everyone who sympathised with us in our recent sad and sudden bereavement. During Norman's long illness we wish to thank Doctor's Boyd, Elliott and Brasil, the S.W.A.H., Craigavon Area Hospital and especially Bluestone unit for all their care and attention. Also St. Macartan's, the home care workers and laterally Nightingale Care Home, who all looked after him with great affection. A special thanks to Rev Linda Keys for arranging and conducting the funeral service in a most caring manner. The organist Mrs Jennifer Liggett, gravediggers and Undertakers, Fred Martin & Sons, for the dignified way the arrangements were carried out. Thanks also to the Church Committee, and to the PW Ladies, for providing the tea after the funeral. A most sincere thank you to all who called at our home, brought food, telephoned, attended the funeral and helped out in any way. We received numerous cards with such kind messages of sympathy and to everyone who gave donations to Action Mental Health NI, we thank you all.     CONAGHAN – Peter 1st August 1933 - 22nd January 2018. We, the family of the late Peter Conaghan, 46 Letterbrat Road, Plumbridge, wish to thank all those who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement. We extend our thanks to Fr Gallagher, Fr Farren, Fr Donnelly, Fr Doherty and Fr Colhoun for their support and prayers throughout his illness. Our sincere thanks to the Paramedic Team, Acute Care at Home Team, staff of Plumbridge and Strabane Medical Centres and the staff of Wards 44 and 42 at Altnagelvin Hospital for the dignified care they gave daddy. We also extend our thanks to everyone who sent Mass and sympathy cards, to all our kind and generous neighbours and friends who helped with traffic and Community Bus, to the ladies who helped in the kitchen, to everyone who brought food to the home throughout the wake, to Murphy's on the Green who supplied the family with hot food during the wake and refreshments following the funeral, also to Leo McCullagh for the use of his premises. A special word of thanks to Carmel Gillen for her beautiful singing, those who contributed to the Requiem Mass and to Fr Donnelly for officiating so movingly. A final word of thanks is extended to John McCullagh for preparing the grave and to Mr Charlie Lynch Funeral Director for his enduring professionalism during our time of sorrow. To all those who attended the wake and provided comfort to the Conaghan family, we greatly appreciated your heartfelt support. Daddy's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Monday 26th February at 7.30pm in the Sacred Heart Church, Plumbridge.

    MCELVEEN - Linda (nee Murphy) died at home 5th January 2018. The husband and family circle would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who called at the home, sent cards and letters of condolence and attended the funeral. A special thanks to the ambulance and fire crews and P.S.N.I. who attended that night and also to the doctors and nurses in CAH. Thanks also to K. Cheevers and Son for the dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements and thanks also to the Rev Peter Smith and Pastor Phil Topping for officiating and assisting in the funeral service and lastly to the ladies of St. Mark's Parish Church who provided the tea and refreshments after the funeral service.     HURSON – Brenda (nee Curry) Skeagh Bridge, Smithboro, County Monaghan. Michael Hurson the husband of the late Brenda Hurson who sadly passed away on the 4th February 2018, wishes to express his sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with him on his recent bereavement. A special word of thanks to Fr. Adrian Walshe for celebrating the funeral service and to Martin McCann who provided the music. Thanks also to Jeremy Herron (Undertakers) for the professional and dignified manner with which they carried out all the funeral arrangements and to the gravediggers who prepared Brenda's final resting place. I am eternally grateful to all the neighbours and friends for their support and kindness during this sad time and especially those who gave their time so generously during the wake. To all Brenda's relatives who helped in the house during her wake I extend a special thank you. I would like to thank the doctors and nurses of Cavan General Hospital who cared for Brenda during her final days. I also want to thank the Public Health Nurses and Carers for all the care and support afforded to Brenda over the years. It is impossible to thank everyone individually so I trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of my appreciation. Brenda will be sadly missed by her husband, brothers, sisters, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and many good friends. Her passing will be forever in our hearts. Brenda's Month's Mind Mass is on Sunday 25th February at 11.00am in St. Mary's Church, Treemilehouse.
