BURNS – Florence, nee Burney.
Gary, Jason, Rebecca and Naomi Burns, wish to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to all who helped and comforted our Mother, during her illness, and to our family during our time of sorrow and grief. It is impossible to mention everyone but please know your contribution was appreciated. Our thanks to all medical staff for their dedicated professional help to Mum. This includes the doctors and team members working at The Bridgewater Suite at Belfast City Hospital, together with Daisy Hill, Newry, C.A.H., the Community Palliative Care Team, the Charis Centre, Tandragee Medical Centre and Hill’s Pharmacy. We acknowledge our appreciation of wider family and those friends who visited and showed care to Mum through her illness. These include our neighbours, work colleagues from both Trauma and Ward 4 South of C.A.H. and members of the Motor Cycle Road Racing Fraternity in Ireland. We thank everyone who helped regarding the funeral. Funeral Director Roy Warnock and team managed the full funeral arrangements with professionalism, dignity, empathy and precision. We thank the PSNI for traffic control, the Road Racers who accompanied the cortege from the home and the nurses who provided a guard of honour at the Church. We thank Minister Laghlin Webster for spiritual guidance and conducting the funeral service. We thank the Elders, Members and P.W. of Clare Presbyterian Church for all their help in catering and many practical ways. Finally our thanks to everyone, who visited our home, brought gifts, sent cards, telephoned, texted, emailed and attended the funeral. We were and remain greatly comforted, humbled and appreciative of the amazing love and care shown to our Mum and our family at this time of sorrow.
Gary, Jason, Rebecca and Naomi.
