John James (Jim)
19th August 2017
The daughters, Sylvia McCay, Yvonne McQuade and Avril Hobson and extended family of the late Jim Donnell, formerly of 16 Castle Brae, Newtownstewart, wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all our relatives, friends and neighbours who sympathised and supported us in our recent sad bereavement. To all those who called at the home, telephoned, sent cards, brought food, brought flowers, attended the funeral, gave donations in lieu of flowers or helped in any way, we are truly grateful.
Thanks to all who visited dad in hospital and at home, his friends and colleagues in MAPS and the Royal British Legion, Newtownstewart and Omagh, your kindness and support was much appreciated.
Thanks also to the ambulance staff and all the medical staff who cared for dad.
Sincere thanks and appreciation to Rev Ivan Dinsmore for conducting a very meaningful and lovely funeral service. Special thanks to the church wardens, organist, grave-diggers, the ladies of Ardstraw Parish church for providing tea after the interment and the piper, Kyle Duddy, for the beautiful and fitting choice of music.
Special thanks to R.G. Adams and Son for the professional, dignified and caring manner in which funeral arrangements were carried out.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our thanks and sincere appreciation.
