    Mahoney Ryan, Augher, died 21st July 2019 We, the family of the late Ryan Mahoney, R.I.P, wish to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to all those who sympathised with us on the loss of Ryan. Thanks to the passers-by who were first on the scene and to the emergency services and local priest who attended Ryan there. Thanks to those who attended the wake and funeral - especially those who travelled long distances, sent Mass cards, telephoned, or who sent heartfelt messages of condolence. It is so heartening to know that we are not alone. We thank our neighbours, friends and relatives who brought food and gifts and helped in the home in so many ways, especially those who tirelessly provided refreshments at the wake, including Centra, Clogher; Spar, Augher; The Valley Hotel, Fivemiletown; Ann Jordan; and the Mellon Country Inn. Thanks to Fr. Gallagher and Fr. McGahan for their spiritual support and for officiating at Ryan’s Requiem Mass. Special thanks to Ciara Fox for the beautiful music at the Funeral Mass. Thanks also to the undertakers, McAtee Bros, who all carried out their duties in such a professional and dignified manner. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our heartfelt thanks. Ryan’s Month's Memory Mass will be held on Sunday, 25th August 2019 in St. Macartan’s Church, Augher, at 11.15am. "A heart of gold, a smiling face, someone special we can’t replace."

To the Rev Olie Downey, for her visits, attending the hospital and supporting the family throughout this time; the organist, Mrs Sylvia McClung, and Mrs Lynn McLaren for the beautiful flowers in the the church. Many thanks to the Ambulance Service and the Doctors and Nurses in A&E and CCU at the SWAH for their care and support. To the staff in St Macartan’s Nursing Home who cared for Josie and made her time with them special. Thanks to Edfield Restaurant for supplying the funeral tea. A special thanks to the grave digger and F Martin and Sons for the dignified manner they carried out their duties.
