Many thanks to the Reverend Mark Neilly for leading a beautiful service and to Dr Robin Greer for the reading and prayer. Thanks also to the ladies of 1st Ahoghill for the refreshments. They are also grateful to all the staff of the Stroke Unit, Antrim Area Hospital, for their caring and faithful attention to Bertie. The family very much appreciates the many forms of help given by their friends in Cullybackey Methodist Church, the pastoral support of Rev. Philip Gallagher, Rev. Laurie Churms and Rev. Dr. Brian Fletcher and their participation in the funeral and thanksgiving services. The kindness and sympathy shown by so many people have been a great comfort to the entire family circle.

    Gaston The family of the late James Gaston wish to express their sincere thanks to all those kind relatives, neighbours and friends who called with James during his illness and to those who sympathised and supported us during our recent bereavement. Thanks to those who visited the home, brought food, sent cards, telephoned, attended the Thanksgiving Service and gave donations to MS in lieu of flowers. Also a special word of thanks to the Rev. David McMillen for his pastoral care in the home, at hospital and the caring manner in which he conducted the Thanksgiving Service. We also like to express our thanks to the flutest Mrs Lisa Torrie (niece) for playing at the service in such a dignified manner. Grateful thanks to the staff in Rehab 2 Unit at Causeway Hospital Coleraine, Dr Johnston at Cullybackey Health Centre and the District Nurses. A special thanks to the staff of Crossroads, Northern Health and Social Care Trust and Bluebird Care for their excellent care and attention over the years. Our thanks to James Henry Funeral Services for their professional and caring manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. Our sincere thanks to the Emergency Service Cardiac Ambulance team, the First Aid Team at Sainsbury’s, the members of the public who assisted and also the Cardiac doctors and nurses at the Causeway Hospital, all of whom attended Will with such loving care and were so helpful to his wife. A special thank you to Rev Raymond Kelly, Minister of Main Street Garvagh Presbyterian Church for his concern and help at the Causeway Hospital, for his numerous home visits, his words of comfort, kindness and spiritual support to Jean and the family circle and also for conducting the Service in the home, the Thanksgiving Service in Main Street Church and the interment. Thanks to the ladies of Main Street Presbyterian Church for providing the refreshments in the Church Hall, to the Organist and to the Gravedigger.     Slevin - The husband and family of the late Charlotte Slevin, wish to express their sincere gratitude to everyone who showed them sympathy and support on their recent sad bereavement. We are grateful to all our extended family, relations, neighbours and friends and who helped and supported us, prior to and after the funeral. We thank McQuillan’s GAC for their support and we are truly grateful to all those who called at the house, left cards and messages, provided food, attended the funeral or helped in any way. Thanks also to all those who helped with the funeral service, to make it truly memorable especially Fr McCahery for his celebration of the Requiem Mass, the parish choir and Sharon McDermott and Maria McGowan for the beautiful music and Una McKinley for the refreshments after the service.Thank you to the medical staff, and representatives of the Coastguard and PSNI who attended and treated Charlotte with such dignity. Our thanks also to Peter Dallat & Sons for their compassionate and professional handling of the funeral arrangements and to the staff at Impact Design. As it will be impossible to thank all those concerned individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt appreciation. The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions as a thank you. Charlotte’s month’s mind mass has been arranged on Saturday 26th May at 6:30pm in St Patrick’s and St Brigid’s Church Ballycastle.
