    SMYTH - Florence - The family of the late Florence Smyth (Lisbunny) wish to thank most sincerely all who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement. Heartfelt thanks to the kind relatives, friends and neighbours who called at the family home, brought gifts and sent cards, gave donations in lieu of flowers, attended the funeral and helped in any way. Grateful thanks to the Ambulance Service and Staff of Altnagelvin Hospital for their medical care. Also sincere thanks to the Doctors and Nursing Staff of Claudy Health Centre and the Carers for all their help, support and medical attention during the last few years of Florrie's life. Heartfelt thanks to Rev Stuart McCrea for both his pastoral care during this time and conducting the funeral service. Continued gratitude to Rev and Mrs McCrea for their ongoing support to the family circle. Sincere gratitude to the Ladies of Donemana PW for providing refreshments after the funeral. A special word of thanks to David and Ruth Hay for the dignified and caring manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. We are truly thankful for the loving care which mum received during her time at Rose Martha Court Nursing Home. And especially the marvellous staff who were supportive to us throughout. Mark McConnell for providing spiritual support and guidance during Mum's final days and for his comforting words and expertise in conducting the service of thanksgiving. Nan, Michael, Eamon & wider family circle of the late John Daly, Gortindarragh wish to thank all those who have supported us in our time of loss with their kindness, help and sympathy. Special thanks to our neighbours and all those who visited the house, sent mass/sympathy cards, flowers etc., C A Cabs for conveying passengers to and fro from wake, car park attenders both at wake and funeral and Gortavoy Feeds for use of their yard for parking. Thanks also to those who shared many happy memories and humorous incidents involving John. We would also like to thank Fr. McAleer for his consoling words and personal eulogy at the Requiem Mass. Thanks also to Fr.Breslin who visited John on numerous occasions during his final weeks and for his unfailing support to John and family. Thanks also to Fr.McGuckin who gave a life time support to us all. Thank you to our sacristan, altar boys and gravediggers. Thanks also to our local pharmacist in Pomeroy and Donaghmore also to Doctors McKay, Vernon and McGarvey, Helen and Patricia who cared so well for Johns medical needs. Many thanks to the District and Macmillan Nurses and Home-carers who attended to Johns needs so caring and efficiently. Special thanks to Maura, Catherine and St. Josephs PS Choir and to Eugene and Niall who sang and played so inspiringly and befittingly during the Funeral Mass. Thanks also to McAleer Funeral Undertakers who carried out their services in a professional and dignified manner. A word of thanks also to Galbally Community Centre who provided refreshments after the funeral service. In appreciation of all your help and support the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. John's Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 24th November 2017 at 7.30pm in St. John the Baptist Church Galbally.
